The créche will be open from 10:00-20:00 all three days of EMF Camp and operated by 9 members of staff.

===Staff Ratios===
Up to 40 children can be cared for by Nipperbout at a time, with a maximum of 4 under 2 years old. There will be an effective booking-in system for when the crèche is full which enables the public to return at a specified time.

Nipperbout staff ratios are as follows:
* Children aged 0 – 23 months = 2 children:1 adult
* Children aged 2yrs = 3 children: 1 adult
* Children aged 3yrs and above = 5 children:1 adult.

Please note children who do not attend main stream settings MUST have one to one care and it is advisable to supply a break away room for autistic or ADHD children.

===Other Details===
Nipperbout would run a timetable of activities to include sessions of art and craft, face painting, drama, music, circus skill workshops and parachute games within the crèche.

No food can be taken into the créche, with the exception of baby food.

Nipperbout requires up to 4 hours build-up time before an event and will need to carry out their ‘get-in’ the day before the event starts. They will require 2.5 hours to tear down.

Children able to write short sentences (or accompanied by a parent or guardian who can help them write) will be arranged in a circle and each given an oversized sheet of paper. After writing the first sentence for their story they pass it to the next child who writes the second sentence and folds over the top of the paper, making it impossible to see the first sentence before passing the sheet on to have the third sentence written by the next child. Each child is only able to see the sentence before theirs and not the rest of the back story as they write the next part of the collaborative stories. When the papers get back to the original owners, they can read what the results are in turn.

In this 2-part workshop we will roll up our sleeves and learn about DIY aerial photography using kites: we'll fly a kite, map an area of Bletchley Park, learn how to make a composite aerial photograph using MapKnitter, and learn how to interpret aerial photos, their uses, and examples of how/where DIY mapping has been used around the world (including how this all began during the BP oilspill in the Gulf of Mexico 2010). No prior experience is required. This method is a Public Laboratory for Open Technology and Science open source prototype.

In the first part of this session we will gather data flying a kite over Bletchley Park - everyone, young and old, will get to fly the kites and attach the camera to the kite line but not before learning about the technical and safety bits of DIY kite mapping.

In the second part we will learn how to make a map using the images we collect, interpret them, learn about and create ideas about how these can help us tell a story of the spaces we map, whether these be our communities, public space, our schools, natural areas, farms, etc. We will also talk about the ethics of mapping and the relevance of community mapping and activism.

Kite-Mapping Part 1

In this 2-part workshop we will roll up our sleeves and learn about DIY aerial photography using kites: we'll fly a kite, map an area of Bletchley Park, learn how to make a composite aerial photograph using MapKnitter, and learn how to interpret aerial photos, their uses, and examples of how/where DIY mapping has been used around the world (including how this all began during the BP oilspill in the Gulf of Mexico 2010). No prior experience is required. This method is a Public Laboratory for Open Technology and Science open source prototype.

In the first part of this session we will gather data flying a kite over Bletchley Park - everyone, young and old, will get to fly the kites and attach the camera to the kite line but not before learning about the technical and safety bits of DIY kite mapping.

In the second part we will learn how to make a map using the images we collect, interpret them, learn about and create ideas about how these can help us tell a story of the spaces we map, whether these be our communities, public space, our schools, natural areas, farms, etc. We will also talk about the ethics of mapping and the relevance of community mapping and activism.

Children able to write short sentences (or accompanied by a parent or guardian who can help them write) will be arranged in a circle and each given an oversized sheet of paper. After writing the first sentence for their story they pass it to the next child who writes the second sentence and folds over the top of the paper, making it impossible to see the first sentence before passing the sheet on to have the third sentence written by the next child. Each child is only able to see the sentence before theirs and not the rest of the back story as they write the next part of the collaborative stories. When the papers get back to the original owners, they can read what the results are in turn.

===Créche Opening Times===
The créche will be open from 10:00-20:00 all three days of EMF Camp and operated by 9 members of staff.

Check-in and check-out for children can occur at the following times. Babies can be checked in and out every hour.
* 10:00
* 12:00
* 13:00
* 14:00
* 16:00
* 18:00
* 20:00

===Staff Ratios===
Up to 40 children can be cared for by Nipperbout at a time, with a maximum of 4 under 2 years old. There will be an effective booking-in system for when the crèche is full which enables the public to return at a specified time.

Nipperbout staff ratios are as follows:
* Children aged 0 – 23 months = 2 children:1 adult
* Children aged 2yrs = 3 children: 1 adult
* Children aged 3yrs and above = 5 children:1 adult.

Please note children who do not attend main stream settings MUST have one to one care and it is advisable to supply a break away room for autistic or ADHD children.

===Other Details===
Nipperbout would run a timetable of activities to include sessions of art and craft, face painting, drama, music, circus skill workshops and parachute games within the crèche.

No food can be taken into the créche, with the exception of baby food.

Nipperbout requires up to 4 hours build-up time before an event and will need to carry out their ‘get-in’ the day before the event starts. They will require 2.5 hours to tear down.

* Nipperbout will have marked priority access to one toilet and wash basin nearby. They will provide signs.

===Workshops===
* The Nanotech Workshop Tent will be a single 6 x 9m tent with standard lighting and flooring. 30 power points to be provided.

* Nipperbout will provide all furniture for the tent.

* When no workshops are running inthe Nanotech Tent, the tent is open and available for family-friendly activities.
