At EMF Camp we'll be running three activities:

* Jewellery making drop-in sessions. Come and make your own necklaces, bracelets, etc. with the help of our expert crafter. No specific start time, come when you like, stay as long as you like. There will be a small charge for the components.
* Music making with Charity Shop Pop (aka David). David's studying at uni towards a music production degree, come and see his mobile recording studio and record a short piece with him.
* Communicating around the world without thee Internet - come and see how wireless communications can enable contact to be made around the world without using mobile phones, the Internet; just a piece of wire in the sky.

Please note that we will be attending various workshops individually ourselves during the weekend and the sessions may be operating during that time, but there will always be somebody available to help you and tell you when we'll be back.

About Quantum

The Quantum Technology Club is based in Ormskirk, Lancashire. It meets on the first and third Thursday of the month for adults (all welcome) and the second and fourth Thursday of the month for youngsters (please register on our web site before attending).

We enjoy all forms of amateur radio, making, coding and crafting.

G7lfc: Jewellery making, music making and amateur radio workshops with the Quantum Technology Club.

Based in Ormskirk, Lancashire, the Quantum Technology Club [http://www.quantumtech.club] is a group of folks interested in amateur radio, making, coding and crafting.

We mess around with electronics, Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, BBC Micro:bits, 3D printing, laser cutting, music making, jewellery making, paper crafts and, or course, communicating around the world using various modes.

There is also the Quantum Code Club, a maker and coding club for 9 - 16 year olds.

Here at EMF we have three activities running:

+ An amateur radio station running the latest FT8 digital mode to make contacts with other stations around the world using low power.

+ Jewellery making workshop which is a drop-in activity were you can stay along as you like and make necklesses, bracelets and the like. There will be a small charge for the components.

+ Music making workshop where you can come and see our resident composer, Charity Shop Pop (aka David), using his portable recording studio.
