As previously, high quality mains power (230V 50Hz) will be available throughout the site! Predominantly this will be delivered via 16A IEC60309 ('Ceeform'/caravan) connectors although some 13A UK sockets (BS1363A) will be available from Datenklos (power/network distribution portaloos).
We plan the campsites so that no point will be more than 40m away from a source of power, but the majority of power extension leads are limited to 25m, so please aim to arrive early if you really need power, or try and borrow some off a neighbour.
Requirements in excess of 16A single-phase are subject to special request - please email [email address removed]
Safety
The power network is designed and tested to relevant standards. All final equipment outlets are protected by 30mA RCDs to reduce risk of electrical shock.
You should always make sure that any connections are kept well inside an area which won't get wet. If you suspect a connection has got wet, please disconnect it yourself or ask for a member of the power team if you don't feel you can.
Camper vans/caravans
As usual we will plan 1 16A IEC309 socket in the campervan area for every campervan/caravan ticket sold.
Electric Vehicles
We want to provide power for EV charging. Please see Power/Electric_Vehicles
