parkrun [http://www.parkrun.org.uk/] is a free, weekly, timed 5km run that takes place every weekend in thousands of parks around the world (500 in the UK). 150,000 UK people run at a parkrun event each week out of a total community of 1.7m. They take place in the UK at 9am on a Saturday morning. You can RUN, WALK, or VOLUNTEER at the event. There is no need to run at a certain pace, or finish in a certain time. To get a time you need a barcode, you can sign up here: [https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ parkrun UK signup page]. Don't forget your barcode if you want to have your time recorded.

There are a number of events near the Eastnor field:

* Newent (11km)
* Tewkesbury (16km)
* Gloucester (20km)

The simplest drive looks like '''Tewkesbury''', we went there in 2018 is it was lovely, should we go there again or should we explore Newent Forest of Dean, or one of the Gloucester parkruns?

'''Realtime co-ordination''': Let's idle in IRC, Libera channel #emfrun (same network as the #emfcamp IRC channel) for realtime co-ordination on the weekend.
'''default position: meet main gate 0750, DFYB'''

'''Cars going: '''

'''Junior's'''

There is also a new parkrun junior event which has just started up, Hereford Leisure Centre junior parkrun (28km), Junior parkruns are for children from 4 to 14 inclusive and take place on Sundays at 09:00.

parkrun [http://www.parkrun.org.uk/] is a free, weekly, timed 5km run that takes place every weekend in thousands of parks around the world (500 in the UK).
