LIVE IN THE FIELD:

Some Unaffiliated are pitched up behind F3. Turn off the road at the Maths Village, walk past F3 and some of us are pitched up on the right.

Layout:

Middle of the camp will be a social area. Hopefully sheltered, seated, and with power.

There should be space left roughly in the middle for an event shelter. With tents pitched around it.

Should leave a path out to the main road from that for ease of access.

Hopo	Connected to Leicester Hackspace, but we havent got a contingency at EMF this year. Last attended in 2016. A creator of things with LEDs, mechatronics, and general tinkering. Looking to discover new exiting people and things.	2mx2m LED curtain, can be freestanding (to walk through) or attached to the side of a marquee/tent. If this can be visible from the 'street' that would be much appreciated. Also, a Thermal Grill Illusion that I would like to be able to set up in the event shelter for people to play with if possible, smaller than a cat-carrier, needs mains. I also have a sand-table, but still needs some (software) work so unsure if to bring that or not.
Soph	Connected to Leicester Hackspace as above, First time at EMF. Interested in performance arts and installations, fabric creations and bright colours. Looking to meet some interesting people and do some fun things.	We (Hopo & I) can bring an additional gazebo or another little gas stove etc. We have various camping supplies if needed.
Alasdair	First time at EMF. I enjoy playing with Arduino and other electronics, as well as generally making things (woodwork, leathercraft, ...).	If I've got time I'll try and program an ESP32 attached to an LED strip with a few animations
Jaz	First time at EMF. Day job is being an electronic engineer fixing technical problems. The rest of life is trying to figure out what keeps me amused, and do it for as long as it makes me keep ticking. I like making things and fixing thing. Keen to see what EMF is about and what's interesting, and meet some new humans along the way!	Camping kit and not much else!
Sara	First time at EMF. I am a lecturer in computer science, and enjoy making interactive installations. I'm coming with my son. Hoping to meet other friendly people and learn some new stuff.
Rosana	Studied telecommunications engineering but ended up working as a software developer. I miss the physical world (electronics & antennas) a lot and I'd like to someday join a radio amateur club and be able to design a self sufficient home. Living in London, moved to the UK with my love life Rafael three and a half years ago but thanks to the pandemic I am just now starting to be part of society and do things with people again. Aidan	First time to EMF. Literally just booked a ticket right now (8.30am, June 2nd). Someone reminded me that it was on just yesterday. I have a background in EE, mostly write embedded C. Hugely into other things like biohacking, philosophy, meditiation and many others	Whatever I can throw into the car. Will bring a few high current bench PSUs, some addressable LEDS, misc cables etc etc. Half tempted to bring my PID controlled Gaggia Classic (maybe it stays in the boot but who knows)
