A collection of mathematicians and maths communicators, interested in anything mathematical or maths-adjacent. You're welcome to join us, or to visit the Maths Village to play with mathematical toys and puzzles, take part in some workshops and activities, and meet other maths fans. We're located at Workshop 5, up the hill from Stage C.

We'll be hosting some workshop content from the main programme, and at times when there aren't specific workshops running and one of us is around, we'll open the Maths Village tent to visitors to play with our selection of mathematical puzzles, toys and curiosities, sourced from village members and elsewhere. Big thanks to MathsCity Leeds, who have lent us a selection of their hands-on puzzles and a wooden dome construction activity.

On Friday evening, we'll be converting the Maths Village Tent into a temporary pub, in order to host a MathsJam: an opportunity for like-minded self-confessed maths enthusiasts to get together in a pub and share stuff they like - puzzles, games, problems, or just anything they think is cool or interesting. We'll provide some stuff to play with, but you're welcome to bring along your own puzzles, discussion topics or crafts. And beer.

More details will be confirmed once the workshop schedule is released, but we also hope to hold a crafting session, a coding night working on problems from Project Euler, and will also be getting out MENACE: the Matchbox Educable Noughts and Crosses Engine (visit for a chance to play noughts and crosses against a pile of matchboxes).
