| To make it easier to navigate between pages about the film, I have made them into subpages. If you are starting a new page, please make sure its name starts with "EMF Sci Fi Film/" and start the page with {{Sci fi navbox}}.

Main filming kit
Camera: Lumix GH3
Lenses: 12-35mm, 20mm f1.7, 14-15mm, 14-140mm, 17.5mm f0.95, 50mm f1.4 full frame manual lens, polarising & ND filters for some lenses.

Note - additional cameras will be used as needed for timelapses, drone flight, cutaways, general views and if people find themselves getting inspired. The setup above will be expected to get the main bulk of the action.
Setup specifics
Sound Setup:
File:Simple-audio-setup.pdf describes (with many pictures) the sound setup for a single camera shoot with external clean sound being recorded on 2 separate channels, one channel to actor via radio lapel mic, 2nd channel to wild sound or other actors via shotgun mic on boom pole. Sync via clapperboard.
This download link (350mb) has all the photos required to demonstrate a far more complicated setup rig which would allow us to send clean audio to the camera as 2 mono mixes via radio. WE ARE NOT DOING THIS.
Other kit people are bringing which can be used as needed.
