Main filming kit
Camera: Lumix GH3
Sound: Marantz PMD661 field recorder, Mix Pre-D field mixer, sony radio mic, boom pole, seinheisser me66 shotgun mic, seinheisser me67 shotgun mic
Lights: A couple of LED light banks (battery powered) & some camping lanterns.
Sync & logging: Clapperboard
Format specifics
Recording format (camera): 1080p50 AVCHD 48khz sound (can also record 1080p25 if low light becomes an issue, but will need to transcode this up to 1080p50 for editing)
Recording format (sound): 24 bit PCM 48Khz
Ingest: Sync video to clean audio using Dual Eyes (I have a copy of this) A free trial of Plural Eyes will also do the job
Setup specifics
Sound Setup:
File:Simple-audio-setup.pdf describes (with many pictures) the sound setup for a single camera shoot with external clean sound being recorded on 2 separate channels, one channel to actor via radio lapel mic, 2nd channel to wild sound or other actors via shotgun mic on boom pole. Sync via clapperboard.
